ETRT User Guide (Update 1.5.1)

Welcome to the Esports Transfers Reputation Tracker (ETRT) guide. This feature lets you track the reputation of an Esports Player, even if they are not yet on our website.

You can find a specific user using their SteamID from the ETRT menu. If there is data, it will be shown in 5 categories: Reports, Commends, VAC/ESIC bans, Smurfs, and Cases.

To submit your feedback, go to Profile, sign up using your email, and connect your Steam. The ETRT section will then be available in your personal account.

Let's figure out the purposes of all the report types

Report - Use it to describe an issue with a specific player and keep it as objective as possible. If it was offensive behavior, link the demo file or the YouTube video that proves it. Otherwise, reports will be deleted. We want them to be as constructive as possible. All reports are submitted anonymously, but we carefully check for possible abuses to ensure you can't just report a player from different accounts without reason.

Commends - If you like a player or want to recommend them, just add positive feedback :)

VAC bans - You can report if a player has a VAC ban on their account or on a smurf account. This helps us create a database that ensures all players have a clean reputation in the community.

Cases - These are hard reports for cheating, fixed matches, and other major issues about the player. All cases will be approved by us, but feel free to propose your cases, which will be carefully checked by our team.

Smurf accounts - This tracks multiple accounts a player has, so they can't hide past issues.

Submission limits

All submissions are limited, and cooldowns are updated every Monday at 3 AM CET. If you are a journalist or an active community member who wants to help us improve our database, contact our team via Discord, and we will increase your personal limits.

ETRT Goals

We want our reputation tracker to be the main tool in competitive CS2 to check players' reputations and past issues. We want young players to be more responsible for their actions and keep the game fair. Now, players can just change their hardware or create a new Steam profile and start their career from scratch, which is unacceptable for traditional sports.

ETRT Main Page

On the ETRT Main Page, you can check the latest submissions and like or dislike them. This helps us focus on important and controversial topics.

Submission Status

There are three possible submission statuses: Pending, Cancelled, and Approved. By default, all your submissions will be shown as Pending and already affect the total reputation score. If we cancel it, it doesn't affect the score. Approved reports will sometimes have an admin comment and mean the information provided is checked by our team.

Can I delete a report from my page?

Yes, but only in some cases when someone creates fake or meaningless reports. We won't delete any objective reports and cases.

Google Doc or Microsoft Word

We recommend you write your reports and cases in Google Docs or Microsoft Word, where you have an autosave feature, and then copy it to our fields.

Why can't I create links or add images?

This will be added in future updates, but you can add a link in text format and upload your pictures to imgur.com. Our admins will edit your reports and fix everything for you. We don't want to be responsible for community content and phishing/scam links in submissions at the moment.

Pins

Also, since update 1.5.1, for all your reports, commends, and cases, you will receive pins on your profile. There's also a pin for the first 1,000 users!
