Astralis signs Jabbi and Stavn
After weeks of negotiations, Astralis has signed Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard and Martin “stavn” Lund from Heroic. The two Danish star players have joined the Astralis roster amid a huge drama in the CS2 world. The estimated price for stavn is $1.25M and for Jabbi $1.1M.
These prices are only a market value assessment and do not reflect the actual transfer prices due to contract lengths in this case.
This is a significant move for Astralis, as both players are known for their exceptional skills and experience in the game. The addition of Jabbi and stavn to the team is expected to give Astralis a significant boost in the upcoming tournaments.
It’s worth noting that both players were benched by Heroic, their previous team, after initiating a push to replace Casper “cadiaN” Møller. The situation escalated quickly, and Heroic had to choose between cadiaN and the rest of the team. Stavn and Jabbi agreed that if Heroic let cadiaN go, they would extend their contracts. With clear intentions from Stavn and Jabbi to extend, Heroic amicably allowed cadiaN to pursue a new path. However, the same day Stavn and Jabbi were presented with new contracts, they communicated having made future plans with Astralis. Their Heroic contracts had almost 10 months until expiration.
