Yuri Santos’s bio

Yuri "yuurih" Boian was born on December 22, 1999. His first professional team was Black Dragons e-Sports, where he played for a couple of months with Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato, who is currently on loan at O PLANO. Then, in 2017 yuriih moved to Keyd Stars and stayed there for a couple of months. After that, the Brazilian got to INTZ before his return to Keyd Stars. After another return, now to INTZ, and a short stop at Virtue Gaming, Yuri finally reached FURIA at the end of 2017. He completed the roster of Andrei "arT" Piovezan, Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, and Guilherme "spacca" Spacca.

In 2018 FURIA mostly played small local events smashing the opponents throughout the year. As a result of his excellent play, yuurih was ranked the 2nd best player of 2018 in Brazil by DRAFT5. A year after, he made his CS:GO Major debut at IEM Katowice Major 2019. FURIA scored 20th - 22nd with only victory over Team Spirit. Soon Yuri achieved his first "silver" at the S-tier event; the team lost to Vitality at Esports Championship Series Season 7 - Finals.

In 2020 FURIA won DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: North America, DreamHack Open Summer 2020: North America, and ESL Pro League Season 12: North America. Furthermore, yuurih got the MVP award for DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: North America, ESL One: Road to Rio - North America, and IEM New York: North America, and was ranked the 14th best player of 2020 by HLTV.

The player reached the quarterfinals at his next two CS:GO Majors (PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022). Thus, the results at other events are not that satisfying; the team rarely reaches the playoffs but not more.

At the age of 22, yuurih's price is $1.460.000 while his total prize earnings are almost $300.000.
